Hi, I’m Angela Sneed. I’m a mother of 3 consisting of two young ladies and a fine young gentleman. I’ve worked with children of all ages from new born to third grade. Teaching seems to come by nature. I love working with children, teaching them, and watching them learn new things. Seeing their eyes light up at milestones like watching a one year old take their first steps, a two year old going potty on the big potty, a three year old recognizing their ABC’s and 123’s and a four year old tying their shoes, all really make my job more worthwhile. The first years of a child’s life are nothing short of amazing!

I am joining the LAP staff as the Loving Lions, younger one’s teacher and also the new Assistant Director. This is my first time working on the Admin team but my 20 plus years of experience will make me a great addition. I look forward to working alongside Ms. Jasmine to make this a great center for staff, children, and their families!

Hola amigos! My name is Ms. Alma.

I am the 3's teacher at Little Angels Preparatory. I have been a part of the LAP team since May 2022. I previously worked in the medical field and I specialized in Pediatrics. I wanted to explore a new path and expand my career so I earned my credentials in childhood education. Overall, I enjoy working with children.

I am a mother of two and I am very close to my family. Spending quality time with them means the world to me.

In my classroom, I incorporate spanish and I absolutely love to teach my 3's a new language. I am excited to share my culture and experience with my students.

My name is Mrs. Marlene Harrington. I have been in the childcare industry for over 35 years and have been with LAP for many of those years. My primary focus is to prepare tasty meals for our children with the right amount of seasoning and love. Secondly, I work as a floater to assist our Lead Teachers, while playing and singing the day away.

I have been singing gospel music since I was 12 years old and still enjoy singing for the Lord with my very musical family. I truly love the Lord and all His people. I believe we are to be meek, yielded, teachable and humble to God and each other.

I love working with my fellow staff members and take great pride in keeping “My” building clean and smelling good at all times. I enjoy when our families come in and compliment the way the center looks and smells.

Hi! my name is Joy James! I have 38 years of experience in early childhood education and a passion for working with children as they grow, learn, and develop independence. I specialize in helping children reach important milestones, including potty training, tracing their name, learning their shapes, and more.

As a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, nurturing young minds is my calling. I hold an Early Childhood Education Certificate, along with CPR and SIDS certifications. I look forward to partnering with you to support your child’s growth!

Hi! My name is Kierstin, I am currently the Lead 2 year old teacher at LAP! I’ve been apart of the LAP family since September 2022!

My kids have been here for 6 years and my nieces and nephew even longer! I love it here and my kids have learned literally everything here, I decided why not be apart of it! I love being the newest addition to the staff and have decided to get my credentials in early childhood education.

I enjoy getting to know all the kids and parents here. Everyone here leaves big smiles on my faces!

Hello! My name is Arlene Blackwell. I started my journey with LAP in September 2022.

I have worked in the public school setting for a very long time and have a son of my own. Working with children brings me such joy, being apart of their development and creating special bonds with each child means the absolute world to me.

I’m very excited and grateful to be apart of the wonderful LAP team, and can’t wait to continue my career with such great staff and children at this center!

Hello everyone I’m Ms. Carkneshea! I have been working here for a couple years now. I am currently the older twos/younger threes teacher. I have two children enrolled here as well and I love working with children.

I am hoping to work towards getting my childcare credentials to further my education and take working in childcare more seriously. I am looking forward to getting to know everybody here and especially grow a bond with everyone. Outside of working I love being a mother and hanging out with friends.

Hi everyone! I’m Ms. Sharon. I am newer to LAP as I started November 2024. I am a mom of 4 and I have 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. I’ve worked with children most of my life and have worked with infants all the way to school agers.

I serve as a teacher in the infant room, I can honestly say infancy is my favorite stage with toddlers being a close second.

Outside of work, I enjoy being with my family, shopping, going to church and doing crafts & DIY projects. I look forward to caring for your tiny ones and getting to know their families.

Hi, I’m Ms. Kelly. I am a co-teacher in the infant room. I have been working in early childhood for 10 years. I have worked with ages newborn to 5 years old. In those 10 years, I have been with infants a total of 7 years. I also hold my NCECC and joined the LAP team in June 2025.

I am the mother of two, a girl and boy. I took a 3 year break to stay home with my youngest child who now attends LAP. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, as well as trying new restaurants.

I look forward to getting to know you and your family! I cannot wait to not only help your child learn and grow but also watch them blossom and meet their milestones.

Hi everyone! I’m Makayla. I am new to LAP as far as working goes but believe it or not I attended LAP from an infant until I was 12. Now I’m 21 and so excited to be here. Currently, I am a teacher assistant in the infant room and a floater. Infants are definitely my favorite. They smell so good and are the sweetest and I just really enjoy watching them grow.

Outside of work, I enjoy hanging out with family and friends and shopping! I look forward to adding my touch to the infant room and LAP as a whole. My coworkers have been so great at making me feel welcome and this is my new favorite place to be.
